The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accessibility services, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the workplace.Key Responsibilities:Program Management:Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive communication access program to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.Coordinate with various departments to identify communication access needs and provide appropriate solutions.Service Coordination:Manage the provision of captioning, sign language interpretation, and other communication access services for meetings, events, and digital content.Establish and maintain relationships with external service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely, and cost-effective services.Training and Education:Design and deliver training programs to educate staff on communication access issues, services, and technologies.Promote awareness of communication accessibility throughout the organization and ensure that staff are informed of available resources and services.Technology Evaluation and Implementation:Evaluate and recommend communication access technologies to enhance organizational accessibility.Oversee the implementation and maintenance of selected technologies, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization and its stakeholders.Policy Development and Compliance:Develop and update communication access policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.Monitor organizational compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to communication accessibility.Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate records of communication access services provided, including budget tracking and service utilization data.Prepare and present reports on program effectiveness, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field; certification in accessibility services such as Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI) or Certified Accessibility Professional (CAP) is a plus.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in communication access, disability services, or a related field.Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in the use of communication access technologies and software.Application Instructions:Interested candidates are invited to submit a resume, cover letter, and a list of three references through the [Company Name] careers portal by [Application Deadline].
